Stayed here for 2 nights before the rugged maniac race in southwick. Also fairly close to the big E in springfield. Its a great family campground with lots to do. Well outfitted facilities and bathrooms. Would definitely stay again.

The camp sites for tent camping are ridiculously small, you can barely fit a tent and screen house. The sites are also pretty much right on top of eachother. Other than that everything is clean and well maintained and staff is very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their guests.

Awesome campground! Everyone was very friendly had a great time. Our tent site was awesome and pretty secluded considering we were in a section with a lot of trailers. I would absolutely recommend it. They had many activities for kids and a few trails to hike on. Don't leave food out though! I guess there are black bears that roam around every so often. We made a rookie mistake of leaving food out in a reusable grocery bag the first night there, and a black bear kept coming back to our site and roaming around the area the next few days. The owner and the seasonal people around us helped us shoo it away and came and checked on us which meant a lot to me, I've always lived in the city and don't come across a lot of larger wildlife haha.

Great for young kids and families! There is so much of stuff to do - swimming in the pool, playground, volleyball, pony rides, catch and release fishing, catching frogs/tadpoles, hiking, paddle boats! I loved the friendly, helpful staff and fellow campers! Look out for the Northern Water Snakes sunning themselves between the two lakes! The store is reasonably priced which you don't see at most campgrounds. Some cabins have bathrooms and other tents and smaller cabins have public restrooms. Both are clean and well-maintained! We had a minor issue with our site and staff came out immediately to address it. This is not rustic camping so expect neighbors. It's perfect to rent multiple sites or cabins with a few friends! Highly recommended!

First time staying here and we were very pleasantly surprised. The grounds are well maintained and clean, the pool and pool area was clean and well kept, the playground was great, store not too badly priced and well stocked. TON's of free activities and things for kids to do. We stayed at a group site with 5 families and a bunch of kids and I don't think we heard one single fight or argument between them the entire time because they were having so much fun. Only one star down because although the bathrooms weren't bad.....they could use a little updating!
